Many of us remember Tamerlan by his dark folk/ritual album – "Ain" recorded with such guests as Cecilia Bjärgö(Arcana) and Tony Wakeford(Sol Invictus). Timur(mastermind of the project) sent us the "Ain" demo at the end of 2013 during our vacation and it was the main soundtrack of the trip those days. By returning to the office I contacted Timur, but it was too late as the album was already signed by cult French Black Metal label Debemur Morti Productions.
Ten years later we're happy to release a small jewel, Tamerlan's new mini album. Only digital and only free/tell your price. Add it to your collection and enjoy Tamerlan's deep ritual folk compositions.

Timur says:
"If we put my ideas regarding the direction of this project into numbers, they will be significantly higher than all the plays of its songs combined. Yet, putting any into motion, and seeing them realized before me had never provided the full sense of content. Just a short-term comfort – a mere good night's sleep below the stars, rather than a full-fledged home in which the very heart of Tamerlan can reside, raising its roof higher and higher with each beat.
Finally, it dawned upon me! All these years I’d been looking around, but never had I stopped to look deep inside, the roots...the origins...My roots! Coming back to Siberia, my birthplace, with that desire, has finally opened my senses. And for the first time ever I could really see through the eyes of what this project was always meant to be! I could hear it in the wind, the vast taigas, the endless rivers...they all spoke to me with the voice many of us call “God”. All I had to do was listen and create...and with that, I could already see the walls of home forming!
“Animist” might be short in its nature, but it represents the gate and pathway to this home. Furthermore, it is a gratitude to all ideas, directions, and forces prior. While not all of them worked as intended, each of them aided me on this journey.
Now I am here, mentally, physically, and spiritually. With three compositions presented on this EP, I complete the old and embark on a new voyage. This time, keeping the heart of Tamerlan in the exact right place!" - Tamerlan
